I drove a Hyundai in Turkey and felt that I should have gotten a smaller car, but I had no problems with the car. I see no reason for paying for a Passat.

Our 10 days in Turkey has turned into 16; we leave tomorrow. Needless to say, we're incredibly excited! Thanks to all of you who helped mold our itinerary; Cappadocia, the coast (Aegean and Mediterranean) and finally, Istanbul. I've gotten invaluable information from Fodorites and I'm looking forward to giving back to the forum by posting a trip report when we return.
