10 Days In Portugal
Looking for help on a 10 day itinerary i Portugal. Flights would eat up a day on each end, so I was thinking 3 days in Lisbon with a day trip to Sinatra. Driving to Lagos for 3 nights and then trying to see some of Coimbra for the remaining days. Does anyone have any input as to whether this biting off to much or is it a good plan?
Thanks

It really depends on whar you want to see and experience. For comparison, I found 4 days (5 nights) in Lisbon too little; two days (two nights) in Sintra just right, and tow days (two nights) in Coimbra just right for my interests. I skipped Lagos.

I think giving us some more information about what you like to do on your vacation would be helpful. History, beach, food, hiking, surfing, wine? How do you like to travel? train, plane, car?
Start with that and maybe we can help!

Thanks for the reply. We are planning on renting a car to travel from Lisbon to other destinations in Portugal. We definitely know we want to explore the southern region with all the beautiful beaches and of course spend sometime in Lisbon, maybe 3-4 days. However after reading some other forums its sounds like Coimbra is a beautiful area to visit as well so I’m trying to fit that in somewhere during our trip. We love to hike and bike so we’re not opposed to walking and sightseeing during our vacation. Any help is appreciated!

It would seem to me that the places you've mentioned -- Lisbon, Sintra, Lagos, and Coimbra -- would easily take more than the 10 days you say you have. So you either need to cut one or more of those locations or you need to commit to having a very cursory experience in them. Your call!
My recommendation is that you consult a good guidebook or two to help you decide on your priorities.
