10 days in Europe - Where should we go??
My husband and I (early 30s) are planning to take a 10-day trip in late May to Europe, but we're just having difficulty deciding where to go! We love Europe and have visited a number of times. We've already been to Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome, Cinque Terre, Orvieto), France (Paris, Normandy, Loire Valley), Spain, and Greece - all of which were amazing trips. We've been tossing around a few ideas, including Switzerland, The Netherlands, south of France (Provonce/French Riviera), and/or Germany (probably would just pick one). We really are very flexible and just love to experience new things and new cultures. We also love good food and wine. We'd like to see as much as we can without making the trip too jam-packed! Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Depending on where you can fly into, one of our favorite trips is to fly into Munich & include Salzburg & Vienna. You'll also have some time to visit some other places easily as Munich makes a great base for exploration. A Paris/Amsterdam/Belgium trip is also easily doable in the amount of time you have.

Sounds like you love Venice and want to go back.
As much as I love Switzerland, I would say end of May is not a great time to go there. We were there at that time in 2007, on a weekend where not much was open, because it was in between ski season and summer. Then again, this was in the Bernese Oberland region - I suppose if you wanted to go to Zurich or Montreux you would be fine.

I'd say Provence and the French Riveria would be a nice 10 day trip. You could do 3 days in Nice and a week in Provence somewhere. Or even throw Paris in there for a few days. Temps will be nicer in the south of France at that time than a lot of other places in Europe.

Oops. When I said "sounds like you love Venice and want to go back," it was because I read your first sentence as "We love Europe and have visited a number of times," as, "We love VENICE and have visited a number of times."
Don't mind me!!
