1 night in Madrid - dinner Barrio de las Letras

Hi! We will be finishing our Andalucia vacation in Madrid - 1 night only, staying in the Barrio de las Letras (Hotel Alba) before going to the airport the following morning. Looking for recommendations for a great meal. Would prefer great food and atmosphere and would probably not want to dress up too much. Early March 2024. Thank you!!

Since you're staying at the Room Mate Alba, my vote would be for Triciclo. It's extremely popular so you should book well in advance (but not "fancy" dress up).

Triciclo would be my first choice. Vinoteca Moratín would be my runner up, both within easy walking distance of your hotel.

Agree with Maribel. For a cocktail after dinner, head to Salmon Guru on Calle Echegaray 21

And for two cocktails after dinner after Salmón Guru, head further down the street to Viva Madrid (same ownership), with a very different and beautiful old time, stunning décor of ancient beams with corbels and antique mirrors.

You are hilarious, Maribel! Viva Madrid looks amazing. If we don't make it there for the 2nd cocktail, we will check it out before dinner. Following this group on IG now! THANK YOU!!!
