1 hour layover in Paris?
We are really trying to find a good price from NYC into Palermo and out of Catania. Delta has a flight that works EXCEPT the layover in Paris is just 1 hour.
Is that doable? I have not been to that airport in a long time. We have carryone bags only. If the connection is too tight and we miss it, does Delta put us on a flight?
Any other airline suggestions that are not flying Boeing Max. I don't even want to be on a Boeing but will. Thank you

I don't think you can plan the type of aircraft. Even if they say they're using an Airbus (for example), that could change by the time you travel. I've flown on many, many Boeings, including the Max, and I would no issue with that.

NO! Don't try it. The only time I had such a connection, we ended up missing the gate closure for the second flight despite running the entire way between planes with an airline guide running interference in front of us. The gate closes 15-20 minutes before departure. Repeat: DO NOT TRY THIS!

Yes, it is possible, I've done it. But you never know, of course. At least you don't have to worry about delayed bags. Yes, if it's one ticket, they have to get you there some time. I wouldn't plan anything important for arrival day. One good thing, all my flights into cdg from us, usually arrive a little early, actually.

Ahhok thanks it seemed pretty tight. This would be the return flight: Catania >> Paris >> NYC. The flight to Palermo has a longer layover.
So we are switching things around. Our last day is Siracusa. The flights out of Catania that do no thave LONG layovers or mini layovers leave in the morning it seems. We will have a car. Do people spend the last night near the airport for morning flights out of Catania?
Has anyone used ITA lately? I was going to go with Swiss if possible only because I had a tough time finding help when I needed to change something on a ticket at ITA. But open to airline ideas too.
