What's going on with RCCL's Mariner?

My husband and I booked a Western Caribbean cruise on this ship on 9/12 and the cabins sold out quickly; the only thing available are the suites. The Eastern Cari. trip practically sold out too. What is it about this ship that we don't know about? Get me excited!!

Perhaps that a lot of your fellow passengers are from so-called "affinity groups"????

I'd like to hear from someone who's sailed this ship.

We found the same thing on our upcoming 6/13 Eastern caribbean Mariner cruise. We booked Jan. 2 and had very few choices for balcony cabins. Must be quite a ship!

It's a brand new ship and the only Voyager class ship sailing out of Port Canaveral. Most new ships sell out quickly and well in advance, sometimes even before completion and delivery. People not only within driving distance, but all over will fly in to travel on her...I have seen her and she is gorgeous !!! All cabins have this lovely light wood, the food was great in my opinion, and although it is a big ship, it was very quick and easy to get around. They have delightful original art everywhere and the famous ice rink among other amenities...Have a great time !

Hi India. My husband and I sailed the Mariner Jan 25. It was our 3rd Voyager Class ship. You have reason to be excited, it has everything in the world to offer. The ice show was unreal- much better than the other 2 we saw. The wine bar was a blast- many new varieties. Do a tasting there. The gym was great, food was good. Loved the daily sandwiches in the Cafe Promenade. That's a good place to people watch as well. Excellent staff. Have a blast! We sailed last September (Enchantment) and will do so again this year- it's a cheap time. I can't imagine it being that full, though!
