What to do on the land part of an Alaskan cruise ??

What do you suggest to do on the land part of an Alaskan cruise. We are on the Sapphire for a week and then travel on land up to Fairbanks for a week. What do you suggest we do for our tours? Open for suggestions... Does anyone know anything about the dinner theater at the Princess lodge? Thanks

Why are you going up to Fairbanks?? Did you book this independently?? On a cruisetour?? In Fairbanks for the entire week?? (why????)

The "dinner theater" is at the Denali Princess lodge, NOT Fairbanks. So are you going there??

List your exact itinerary, then you can get your questions answered better.

Yes this is a cruisetour. We are at McKinley Princess Lodge one night and Denali Princess Lodge two nights and then on to Fairbanks. Sorry about the confusion. One question is about the dinner theater? Has anyone been there? Can you comment on the entertainment and the food. Thanks.

Whatever you do take the helo to the top of one of the glaciers. I know it is $$$$ but bite the bullet and do it. You will never regret it.

I did the Denali Show a couple years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was served family style and was very delicious and plentiful. You can buy drinks at the bar, if you want. Some might consider the show a bit corny, but it really was very entertaining. I recommend it highly.
