What is the best one day cruise to the Bahamas from Miami
Hello,
I am planning a birthday trip to Miami and I would like to take a one day cruise on July 4th to the Bahamas from Miami. I want it to be a pretty fun cruise ride to the Bahamas and it will be a group of 3 to 4 girls going. Please let me know what cruise line to take for the day? Also, please feel free to share if you have had bad experiences on certain lines.
Thanks,
The Birthday Girl

There are 1 day "cruises" to Bimini - the closest island to Miami. I'm not sure if there is a "best" one - there are just different ones. Google "Miami to Bimini cruises" for info. Unless you are willing to stay over night you'll spend the majority of your time on the boat getting there and back vs. actually being on the island.

That must be a trick question as there really isn't a one day cruise as it took a few hours to get there so it technically, is a 2 day cruise. One day to get there, and one day back, with overnight on ship.
A couple of the ladies I worked with took a one day cruise to Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale. One way there, and one way back. It was an old Carnival ship. They call it a cruise but really it works more like a ferry. Depart in the afternoon and arrive 6 am the next day.
They "won" a contest of some sort and it is a package deal that they have to pay a "minimal" amount. It was a cruise to Bahama and back with a 4 night stay at an all inclusive in Bahamas. They also paid extra for upgrades to a better resort so it was't really that free.
ferryexpress.com offers a daily cruise/ferry service to Freeport. Leaves Florida at 8 am and arrives at Freeport before noon. Leaves Freeport about 6 pm and back by 10 pm.
