Well, it's 22 days till out cruise.
We leave in 22 days for our cruise on Princess Grand for the W. Caribb. I bet between the 8 of us we've called the 1 800 number 100 times. And asked every ? there is to be asked. They are likely sick of us. And the ? are still coming in. Tonight we were supposed to meet for a family vacation dinner, but the our Grandbaby (the one going) has strep and it got cancelled. But I'm sure I will be calling that 800 # many more times before we leave.
BTW, I think 25.00 a day for wi fi is such a RIP OFF! What do you think?

You will likely continue to find items on cruise that are a "ripoff". The reason cruises are priced as reasonably as they are is that they can then make their profit on other items - everything from shore excursions to sodas to art sales. All of these items, for which you pay at end of cruise, are avoidable - except tips - if you choose to. That includes WiFi.
So be prepared to pay $2-3 for every Pepsi you want, a little more for alcohol than would at a comparable shore bar, extra for spring water (versus tap water) - the cruise brochure, documents and website will explain all that to you.
Not that this is necessarily bad - we have cruised several times and consider it, relative to the same trip on shore, often less expensive. But if we bought all the extras it might not be. Others plan and budget for all that stuff and enjoy it.

MamaW, before my first cruise I had 1,000 of questions. Very helpful was the cruisecritic website with detailed reports posted.
And don't worry, everything will be fine, and sure there will be minor problems to resolve, like on every vacation. Bring $$$$ and have fun!
WiFi a rip-off? Don't use it on the ship. Get off shore and find an internet cafe.

I hope the baby recovers soon. Have a great time
