using the interactive tv in room on RCCL

I understand I can make 'my time' reservations thru the interactive tv in my cabin ahead of time rather than go to the dining room. I don't know what an interactive tv is or how to use one.

I'm supposing there is a specific channel on the tv for these services and you use the remote control to select what you want to do, not unlike ordering a movie through the hotel tv.

On my last cruise (not RCCL but on Celebrity) I checked my account statement daily through the tv.

I assume it works like similar things in hotels or resorts - basically a scroll and click "OK" is how those work.

Assume that lots of people less intelligent and more drunk than you will be have figured it out - so I am sure you will do fine.

LOL. You put it in perspective. Thank you.
I appreciate both of your responses, chepar and gail, you are both opening new horizons for me. Now I know I can keep tabs on my account and get drunk while watching movies. I love it. I need to visit more hotels.

Just because it's a RC ship, it does not automaically mean you have this option. I know for a fact that some of the older ships do not.

We were on the Grandeur out of Tampa and we did not have this option. My Time Dining still worked as adverstised and we had no problems getting the times we wanted but the reses had to be done either the night before or morning of. The one time we did not make reses we just walked down and we had to wait ~15 minutes. No biggie and we still got our favorite waiter even though it was a different 2 top table.
