USA River Cruise Suggestions
We're recently retired & are interested in taking some USA River Cruises, especially in Fall months or for later holidays. Do you have any suggestions of what months are best to avoid adverse weather in certain areas, which rooms are a better choice or any other helpful hints? We would fly in a day or two before departure to tour whatever area we chose to depart from. Any suggestions for a relaxing trip/area would be most appreciated.

I just read about a new American Cruise Lines itinerary from San Francisco that includes Napa & Sacramento that could be fun.
