I am leaving on May,14th to Bermuda on Crown with NCL.
I just read review that almost made ME cry!
Cruiser went in April for 5 days and talking about their experience as...
Food was like burger/rice/vegggie type.
2 people band with 20 songs for oldies.
Non-friendly casino dealer (hahaha) they probably lost a lot.
Rough seas with no announcement about it and no calming down speach from the captain.
But
"The day after our return most of us wished we were still on the boat! "

So for you my dears I want to ask - is there season of rough seas Bermuda way in May?
Should I take my own TV dinner lunches if I will crave some 'stylish food'?
Should I bring my own lobster/steak/dealer?

Please, help or I will cancell my cruise.

May 14th...when we book May we book the last week or first week in June...April is very rough and I wouldn't think of going.. What I would do and have done.. if the seas are rough going there.. go to Robertsons in St. George..and behind the counter is an elderly woman and ask for Sturgeron.. it is used by the yachtsmen for sailing.. and I have a huge stash of it..for seasickness...and right now.. go to your local health food store and buy a jar of ginger tablets.. Remember when you were small your mother gave your flat gingerale!! Well, I get seasick easily.. and when I board a cruise ship and even before it moves I take a ginger tablet.. and to be cautious.... I take one every meal at sea... As for the food.. I can tell you that avoid the buffets.. eat in the dining room, except for the barbecue.. they have fabulous ribs. HAVE NEVER b een on the Crown, but on the Majesty 10 times to Bermuda.. and Bermuda is just lovely..

Lemme try to help in response to "Please help, or I will cancel my cruise" (is this a threat or what?). Before I take a cruise, I do a thorough research if I am not familiar with this ship or cruise line. Based on what I know, the NCL Crown is an old small stinky ship. I heard so much negative that I'd never go on it. You booked it ignoring all warnings, so what's the point of whining now? So now you decided to listen to advise? Go ahead and cancel it (yea, like you'll do it 10 days before the sail). Does this help?

I did not know there is rough seas in May. By my research I thought it is ending in April. So I was surprised.
