You're absolutely right Eschew, it is part of our daily lives. How would we manage nowadays without this indispensible paper product? And slow or not, I often check in here to see if I can learn something new, or pass on some of my own experiences cruising.

Giovanna, you are right too that there are more pressing issues than TPs in a bin and it might not deserve the attention it did.
I have not check the air travel forum lately but Ryan Air has applied for "standing room" on their short haul flights. I have seen a picture of the proposed standing room (or standing seat), the space allocation is 25 inches front to back per passenger, I thought sardines in a can would have more space.
In certain Asian countries, some publc bathrooms are charging TP's by the sheet, prepaid before you enter into the facilities ...
Too bad we don't have meaty issues like these on the cruise forum.
