Princess Carribean Reviews

We are sailing on the Princess Carribean to New England and Canada on 9-11-10 Looking for any reports on things not to miss (as well as to miss) on the ship, speciality restaurants etc. as well as any great shore excursions. Thanks.

Check out cruisecritic.com and look for the ship or ports you are visiting.

Sorry about the lack of info. We will be stopping at Newport (we already did all the mansion tours),Boston,Bar Harbor, Saint John, and Halifax. Other then taking the cruise ship tours, do most of the ports have taxis or private cars available at the dock to do private tours (at hopefully a lower price?). Also interested in the ship's speciality restaurants and if they are worth the additional cost.

We saw very little in St. John or Halifax. If private tours were there we missed them. Its not like in Caribbean ports where there are plenty to choose from. In St John we did a ships tour. In Halifax you can walk to the maritime museum, takes about 15 minutes, and thats a big attraction there. Thats all we wanted to do really. They have some Titanic artifacts there including a poster advertising its return trip to England later that April 1912.
