Do you want to tour and see things? Do you want warm weather and sunny beaches with swimming? Do you want elegant, quiet ships or more fun, party experience? Will you have children with you and want a great kid's program or more adult stuff? Price point? Look at vacationstogo for a range of ideas during Christmas?

I'll agree that it's a very hard question to respond to because you haven't given us personal preferences other than time of year and destination - but I'll throw this in simply because I recently did some research for personal reasons and found these cruises:
Both departing out of Singapore:

As its very difficult to get bookings in this PEAK TIME OF CHRISTMAS, thank god i got this best dhow cruise dubai, for fantastic discount.
