Path of Paul Revere

Has anyone taken the princess cruietour "A Revolutionary Experience: The Path Of Paul Revere"? If so what all do you see in Boston before heading out to Lexington? Do you see the big historical sites of Boston?

Have you looked at this tour on Princess's web site? Thinl that would tell you where it goes and what you'll see.
Maybe you should check with the Chamber of Commerce in Boston. They should be able to answer your questions too. They will be able to tell you what you'll see on that tour.

Unfortunately the Princess site does not give a clear idea of what all you see during the 4 hour tour. I don't want to double up on tours if I don't need to but I don't want to miss out at least driving by the main sites of historic Boston. Thanks though.

I lived in Boston for 18 years, and think you can have a lot more fun and learn just as much by doing most of the tour on your own. (If the 4 hours includes a two hour round trip by bus to Lexington and Concord, you are unlikely to have much time to see anything in downtown Boston.) Get on the "T" and take the Red Line to Government Center. With the City Hall at your back, the Old State House is on your left. (I think there may be a tourist office on your left as well.) Walk to the State House, find the red brick line in the sidewalk, and you are at the start of the Freedom Trail. All the sights along the trail have (had?) free admission and any good guidebook will tell you all, and more, than you would here from any guide dealing with a busload of people.

My recollection is that allgetaways.com has a list of Boston walking tours. Despite our long residence in Boston, when DW and I were last there, we took a Duck Tour on the Charles (That's a DWK 2.5T for WWII buffs.) and loved it.
