Olympic Explorer in August

We are going on this line this summer from Athens the first week of August. Anyone familar with the ship? Suggestions? Anyone else going?

We're doing this cruise on Sept 14th from Venice. Wish there were more replies out there from previous cruisers. A long time ago Paul Therault posted about going on this trip. Paul, are you out there? Any Advice?

I have never been on board this ship, but I live in Venice on the Canal of the Giudecca, and the cruise ships come along right in front of my house. The Olympic Explorer looks very nice, modern and lots of cabins with balcony!Sorry I don't have more info!

I am doing the same cruise from Athens on Sept. 12th. My friend is also taking this cruise June 13th from Athens. Would also love to hear comments about this ship.

I will definitely post a report when my friend returns. I, too, want to hear everything about the ship and the excursions. My friend is in the travel business and is very particular, so I trust and value her opinion.
