Newbie needs help from all you pros!
Hello!
21 year old female solo traveler needing a bit of advice! I have been looking for 3 specific cruises and haven't found anything. However, I know that they must exist, so I am hoping that you guys might know how to search for them better than I do!
August 2012: Canada (any port really!) to Asia (any port really, I'm actually needing to get to Kathmandu for August 24th 2011 and would love to sail as much of the way there as possible).
EARLY Dec 2012: Istanbul to Western Australia/ as close as possible! Same as above, need to get there, much prefer cruising to flying.
Late Dec 2012/ Early January 2013: Australia to Canada (any port really), as I need to get home!
If anyone knows of cruise lines which do these trips I'd really love to hear from you. All my googling has got me no where at all!
Thanks so much!

The best itinerary search out there is CruiseCompete's:
http://www.cruisecompete.com/search.php
In addition to all of the standard search options, you can type the name of a port or country into the "visits" box and get itins. that match.
Bad news is that what you're looking for just doesn't exist. There's an AMAWATERWAYS river cruise that includes airfare from Canada and then cruises in Asia, but I'm not seeing any way to cruise where you want to go. Passage on a freighter might be an option, but not something I'd recommend to a young female...

Augsut 2012 from Canada to Asia is wrong time of the year. Ships leaves vancouver for Asia starting mid September. You won't be able to find one.
Istanbul is not a typical "home port" so you may have problem finding something that originates from there to go to Australia.
As to Australia to Canada, you are out of luck too for December. Cruise ships stops in vancouver in for summer seasons and the Fall seasons in Halifax and Quebec City.
If you really want to travel by ship as much as possible, you may have to change your originating or ending ports.
Do you have any idea how long it will take you by cruise ship from Istanbul to Australia? and from Australia to say, Vancouver?
They don't travel on a straight line and they make frequent stops. That's the whole idea. By the way, have you talk to a travel agent? They may be able to help you.
