Montego Bay

Have not been to Montego Bay. Going on a cruise. Any ideas as to what to do there?

We went to all-inclusive resort Sunset Beach. They increased day pass price to $40 p.p. but we thought it was money well spend. You get to drink/eat all you want, and their jerk chicken is to die for! There are 3 beaches (one is nude) and nice swimming pools. It is only 3 min from pier and taxi is $2 p.p.

Dunns River Falls is pretty neat. However timing may be an issue as it is 2 hrs. from Mo Bay 1 way.

Contact Elizabeth Barrett at www.barrettadventures.com

We did a hike up Mayfield Falls (closer than Dunn's River and not at all crowded.). It was wonderful. Elizabeth is very knowledgable and a lot of fun--this was the highlight of out trip.

Cheers!

My family is doing the Original Canopyh tour - it is a zip-line tour that gets rave reviews. This can only be booked through your ship but here is a link that gives a good overview.

The Barrett Adventures also get fantastic revues - those in our group that are not doing the zip line thing are probably doing a tour with Ms. Barrett - we're leanign towards the YS Falls & River Tubing.

We usually just research a port-of-call and do our own thing but everything I've read sounds like those who do a tour or activity love Mo Bay and those that don't are generally disappointed with the aggressive cab drivers, traffic, etc.
