Mexican "Riviera" in December

Has anyone been? What kind of weather should we expect?

We will be cruising out of San Diego on 12/16 for 7 days, to Cabo, Mazatlan & Puerta Vallarta. I'm hoping it will be warm, but not sure.

Thank you.

Yes, it is hot, humid and casual. Except for dinner on the ship, dress is totally casual.

We traveled the same route with Princess during the week of Dec 11 two years ago. The first day down and the last day back (the sea days) were cool with temps in the mid 50's out of LA.

We just cruised the Mexican Riviera on HAL's Ryndam over this past New Year's. Left from San Diego and cruised all the way down to Acapulco. Perfect weather - 70s,80s, 90s - for the entire 11 days.

It was very difficult to get back on the plane and head to winter in NYC.

Enjoy!

Thanks, all.

We'll be on HAL's Oosterdam, 7 day cruise.

I did a 7-day out of LA a few years ago for spring break. I was actually surprised at how cool it was the first and last days of the cruise. Once we reached PV, Cabo, and Maz it was lovely.

We cruised the Mexican Riviera in early January last year on Princess and the weather was nice. It rained and was cool in Los Angeles, but got warmer as we got further south. It was in the 80's in Puerto Vallarta, the mid-70's in Mazatlan and the low 70's in Cabo - all sunny days. It was a nice break from the cold winter in the Rockies.
