Land tours on W. Carib. cruise

We are scheduled on Carnival Paradise for 12/16. Anyone have opinions on good (or bad) land tours? The itinerary is Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen.

We've been there before (on a Celebrity cruise), but the weather was bad and we didn't get to do any tours.

Thanks for any help...

We did the W. Carib on the Carnival Imagination, and the excursions were the best part.

Ochos Rios - Climbing Dunns River Falls is great
Grand Cayman - Swim with the sting rays!
Cozumel - We did the trip to Tulum, and still had time to do walk around the town.

I believe that Playa Del Carmen was the port where many of our cruise companions when to Xcaret. They all loved it. The main website is:
http://xcaretcancun.com/
but you can search the web to find many other photos of this excursion. If we ever go back, this is one I don't want to miss. Have a great cruise!

Cozumel/Playa del Carmen - We did the Tulum tour. Be prepared for long bus rides and lots of walking. It was interesting if you like ruins. If you don't want a tour that takes up most of your day or have difficulty walking, try something else. We also did the beginner's scuba excursion. We are both certified, but newer divers. We only went to 30 feet, but that was enough to see good sealife.

Grand Cayman - Swimming with the stingrays is a must! They are friendly and will allow you to hold them, pet them, and feed them. Don't do the snorkel tours. They are disappointing.

Jamaica - Climbing Ocho Rios is great, but be careful of the peddlers on the way out. We also took a plantation tour. That was interesting as well.

Try Captain Marvin's in Cayman for a stingray city and snorkeling excursion. We used them when we were there on vacation and it was the best trip! Website is http://www.captainmarvins.com/. It looks like they have trips especially for cruise passengers.
