Know any cool excursions for a pirate crazy kid?

We will be cruising the Caribbean in Dec and my twelve year old daughter is pirate crazy! Our ports of call are Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios. Any ideas for excursions that will make our child happy?
Thanks!

Not pirate-related, but it is hard to imagine any kid would not love the Sting Ray City thing in Grand Cayman.

Just a concern, there is no chance of getting stung right?

We just did the Sting Ray City thing from a Western Caribbean cruise. They take you out in a boat (about 15 minute ride) to a sand bar, give you a snorkle vest which you don't need since you are in about 3-4 feet of water.

These big sting rays swim around, brushing against your leg and waiting for you to feed them the squid from the floating bucket of squid. Although the boat operators let you know about the stinger on the tail, I can't imagine these overfed fish would be dangerous. (With all due respect to Croc Hunter)

My 16 year old dtr was a little spooked right after his death, but forgot her fears once we were there.

The boat guys even hold them so you can have a photo taken. Terribly touristy and somewhat disrespectful to the fish - but great fun and I am not sure the rays care as long as they get lots of squid.

We took a land tour of Grand Cayman in an open bus that was narrated by a "pirate" - it was fun.

I think there's a replica "pirate" ship in Grand Cayman. It's too bad you're not going to St. Lucia. They have one of the ships that was in Pirates of the Caribbean, and it does daily cruises.
