Is this a reasonable price?

Help!!!
Can I get everyones opinion. If you found a deal to the Southern Caribbean on Adventurer of the Seas for 1596.00 for two (Inside Cabin). Would you pay this price? This does not include airfare. I could get an oceanview room for $200 more. Wasn't sure if it's worth it?
Please advise! I don't want to go in debt for a cruise.

Thats about average. Keep in mind that you're sailing out of San Juan and airfare will be expensive. If you're thinking about frequent flyer miles - Sunday departures out of San Juan are tough to come buy in the categories you'll need for ffm.

It's a decent price for that ship - the voyager class ships tend to be a little pricey. Peter's right, depending upon what air city you're coming from air can be expensive. Unless they are running a sale or you are out of Florida, the cruise line air is generally not out of whack for San Juan - just keep that in mind when you're searching.

Don't forget, you can always save money by bringing a big bottle of wine with you. Be sure not to share any with your tablemates and maybe it'll last for the entire cruise. Also have your children bring their own sodas to dinner, and don't forget to reduce all tips to 0 on the second to last day of the cruise.

You forgot about bringing a suitcase full of beer and hiding the hard liquor in old shampoo bottles in carry-on luggage.

Also, see earlier post about luggage left unattended - I am sure you could borrow anything else you need for the cruise from luggage left in hallways and no one would know.

When you book airfare, check on airlines sites about tips for getting free upgrades even though you did not pay for them

Yes a flight to san juan is expensive. From miami to San Juan cost me $400 per person last may. It is the same distance from miami to san juan as it is from miami to new york.

I just booked us air from NYC to San Juan for 307- pp... I thought it was a great rate! There is one connection but a nice and early departure and a nice late return.
