How to handle rude passengers?
How do you handle rude passengers? For instance when the people put a bunch of towels on lounge chairs to "save" them?<BR><BR>I have once balled up the towel and tossed it into the used towel bin. I was never confronted. Frankly I think that the people who save chairs know that they are in the wrong so when someone calls them on it, they will rarely make a big deal of it.<BR><BR>What do you others do?

I agree with Paul. If it is just a towel, remove it and claim the seat. If someone tells you that it is saved, kindly advise them that the ship's policy is to not allow passengers to save seats and that there are no other available chairs. if the person persists and says there are other available chairs, tell them that when their friend returns that they can claim one of the available chairs.<BR><BR>Then you may as well light up a cigarette and let a few farts slip out because you will have created an enemy anyway.<BR>

I think that most of these computer nerds are fat and wimpy and would never consider even confronting someone. This is all a show because they are at a computer and can type whatever they want. <BR><BR>I save chairs all the time and I have never been confronted.

Save pool chairs? Hell I save entire sections of the theater, dining room, fittnes center, pool, whatever.<BR><BR>Some little bluehair snivels about it and SNAP there goes a hip. <BR><BR>"Wanna say anything else there Mr.- Mrs. beg for the doctor"?

Question: How do you know that the chair is being saved? If I leave a towel while I jump in the pool for 5 minutes, does that mean my chair won't be there when I get back? Tricky business this removing towels. Paul suggests that I leave personal items. What if someone steals them?

You must immediately report any unruly guests to the proper authorities.In case of saving seats,you must seek out the person in charge and lodge a complaint.<BR>This is the proper way and once notified, the authorities will act promptly to rectify the situation.<BR>Saving seats and rude behavior simply is not tolerated.
