As long as you have a dark dress suit , shirt and tie, there is no need to rent a tux.

My husband looks just as sharp and together in his dark navy suit.

Thanks . . . but my husband does not want to mess with packing a suit and all the accessories if he can just rent a tux reasonably.

I guess you can tell this is our first cruise!

Sandy

You can rent a tux with all accessories for around $90 or you can buy a used tux of the same quality for around $125.
Cruiselineformal.com is the rental link.
Try tuxtown.com for purchase.

Peter

If you live in Massachusetts you can buy a tux at K & G Warehouse for men for $99.00. They also do the alterations if needed for a reasonable price.

Way to expensive to rent a tux-
My hubs also bought one for about $200 and has used it on at least 5 cruises already-so it has paid for itself-

If he rented one at home and carried it onto the cruise for the entire week, it was the same cost as BUYING a tux...

Point of order Andy - no ones saying to rent it at home and take it to the ship - the rental link I provided delivers it to your stateroom.

Peter

I know that Peter-- I was just explaining the cost factor of buying one versus renting one IN your home town..NOT on the ship ---
