I would think that the hotel can help. My daughter took a water taxi from her hotel directly to the airport. I think she felt that the price was reasonable, but of course most things in Venice are expensive.

I rhink we paid around 100€ for a private water taxi from the airport. Another time we took the public Vaporetto, much, much cheaper but not door to door.

As I have posted on your other thread, you can take the people mover from Piazza Roma to the cruise terminal.

Hi, you can check prices here http://motoscafivenezia.it/
The Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia consists of several taxi companies, offering a service covering the entire lagoon 24 hours a day. The service from the Airport to Santa Lucia Raylway Sation, for example, is 95€.
The vaporetto is cheaper. The single ticket is 7€ or you can buy a travel card (24h-20€; 36h-25€; 48h-30€; 72h-35€; 7days-50€).
Remeber that Venice is a very small city and you can walk everywhere.
If you want you can read my blog about Venice mariangelagallo.it
there you can find practical advice, ideas, tips on where to eat, and some information of Venetian history and art history. I hope it helps, buon viaggio!
