Hotel with free shuttle from MCO to hotel, then hotel to cruise port?
We're flying in to Orlando (MCO) and taking a cruise from Port Canaveral the following day.
Can anyone make suggestions to help us with a HOTEL that will:
1. Pick-us up from MCO for free.
2. Have a free shuttle to the Port Canaveral cruise port the next day?
Is this possible, or is the distance too far from MCO to the port?

You won't find free shuttle to the cruise port from Orlando. The distance is too far, even Disney charges for guewst staying at Disney resort going on a cruise. I was led to belief it was free but the transfer price was included in the "bundle". When you unbundle everything and book it all separate, it came to the same total after adding on the transfer.

Thanks Eschew for your help!
Is it cheaper to:
1. Rent a car at the airport to drive to the hotel,
then drop off at the port the next day?
or
2. Pay for a taxi from the airport and also to the port the next day?
I assume that renting a car might be cheaper? ... but we have two children that will need carseats which will cost more with a rental so I'm unsure how that works.
Will we need carseats in a taxi??

There are plenty of them. Check here: http://www.mcohotels.com/

There is no such thing. Get a one-way car rental to "Cape Canaveral, FL" or research shuttles on Cruise Critic http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=495
"Is this possible, or is the distance too far from MCO to the port?"
It's 40-50 miles away.

There are shuttles that are cheaper than a taxi. Then you can either stay in a hotel in Cocoa Beach that offers free port transfers, or you could take a taxi. You could also spend the night in an Orlando airport hotel and go to the port the next morning by shuttle. Or you could rent a car. Until you price everything for your dates you'll never know which is cheaper.
