Helicopter Tour - Skagway or Juneau??

Going to be in Skagway on May 24th and Juneau on May 25th. We are planning on taking a helicopter tour out to the glaciers and we are wondering which port would best to this in. Tours we have looked into are TEMSCO in Sakgway and Orca Enterprises in Juneau. Could someone please give us some tips.....thx

Orca Enterprises is not a helicopter company, they book Coastal and do a great job with a combo booking with their whale watches. Both companies are long standing and offer great tours. Choose who fits your time best. I have gone with both companies more than once, always a great personal tour.

In Skagway, you should get up into the Yukon and do the White Pass Railway. We did a helicopter tour in Juneau and it was great. Don't remeber the company - we booked it through Princess. On their shore excursions it was titled something along the lines of Four Glacier Helicopter. We saw a variety of different types of glaciers from the air and landed on Taku Glacier. Very cool!

For clarification the White Pass RR does NOT go to the Yukon only into British Columbia. If you want to go into the Yukon. You can drive to the Yukon or take a combo rail Yukon bus tour.
