DRIVE AMALFI

Has anyone used the company DRIVE AMALFI for excursions while in Naples? Any other suggestions?? We are just there for one day and want to see as much as possible and thought this was the way to go.

I used Sorrentosilverstar , Massimo was our driver in NAPLES for the Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. IT WAS GREAT...he was our favourite driver!
Massimo made arrangements to have a private archaeological guide at Pompeii which was well worth the money, it was a truly amazing day!www.sorrentosilverstar.com

We used them (think I replied to your other post) and found them very good. Cruisecritic is one of the best sources for private guides/drivers for any port. Run a search there for reviews too.

Without hesitation I would recommend Salvatore Lucibello of www.DriveAmalfi.com who hails from the Town of Amalfi and who was a a fountain of knowledge throughout the day. We visited a great little family run trattoria way up in the hills a world away from the tourist traps in a place that only a local would visit. If you can form a small group the price is fantastic when compared to the tours offered by the cruiseline. The Amalfi Coast is one place where you don't want to be stuck on a big tou bus and private tours with local drivers are the only way to go

We used shoreexcursionsinitaly.com from Naples to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast and we had a great time!
They drove us to visit interesting places where not so many tourists go, including a wonderful lunch on top of the hill overlooking Positano.
We visited a ceramic factory where they showed us how they make it and then we tested the best "Limoncello" liquor in Sorrento.
We definately recommend it!
