dining on coral princess

I am going on a panama canal cruise on the coral princess and can't decide which dining to take either regular or personal choice, did you have to wait if you chose personal choice was in more fun? thanks

I was on the Sea Princess a few years ago and enjoyed the personal choice dining. It sort of works like resteraunt seating, you show up and they take your name. You may have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to be seated. It was nice, because my wife and I were able to get tables for 2 when we wanted the, and when were were running slow getting back from shore or getting to dinner there really is no rush. IN fact, we are going on the Dawn Princess in December and again took personal choice dining.

I just came back from a Coral Princess Alaska cruise and our group of eight had personal choice dining. We usually called sometime in the afternoon to make our dinner reservations and never had a problem getting the times we wanted. As a matter of fact twice we called last minute to change to a latter time and they were able to accomodate us. I notice that there were quite a few tables of two so I don't think dining alone is a problem.

Tables for 2 were no problem, in fact that is all we had for the week. Have fun.

It is actually easier to have a table for 2 with PC/anytime dining.

The service is less personal with PC/anytime dining but is more flexible.

peach-

If you do PC and LOVE your waitstaff the first nite, get their names and your table number..Then when you call down for your daily reservation, ask for them..You WILL get them and it makes it a more personal experience like the old cruising...We had a blast with our servers!! and enjoyed PC to boot!
