Hi,<BR><BR>I was just curious if anyone knew how the balcony staterooms are situated. I have booked a BB category for Alask and was told chances of getting an upgrade to a BA is very good. When I look on the web all the B categories are together, how does one know which B category is better than other B category staterooms. Hope this isn't too confusing.<BR><BR>Thanks

What you want is a cabin on the Caribe deck.<BR><BR>The BA's and BB's on Caribe deck have a balcony that is twice the size of regular balcony cabins on other decks.

If the Star is set up the same as the Sea Princess, the difference between BB and BA is negligible. For example, BB cabins are on either end of the Aloha deck, while the BA's are in the center. Most consider the center to be more desirable (due to less motion), so BA's are ranked higher than the BB's. The room size and amenities should be identical. <BR><BR>Pick up a Princess brochure at any travel agency. They will have detailed color coded ship layouts. You will be able to easily see where your cabin is located and how it's situated compared to others. Enjoy!
