need some advice on selecting a small cruise ship to cruise the Baltic Sea. We want to visit St. Petersburg, and we will be traveling with another couple. We are looking for excellent cuisine and great accommodations. I have cruised with the large ships, and I want this trip to be with a smaller cruise line like Crystal. Any reviews or suggestions? Make sure you take a cruise that gives you two full days in St. Petersburg

Our favorite cruise line is Oceania. The ships hold 684 passengers, and the food is excellent.

Take a look at Silversea Cruises. Their itineraries are varied and when they visit St. Petersburg, the ship docks near the Hermitage, plus they typically spend more time in port there than other cruise lines.
