Coral Princess

Just returned from a wonderful experience on the Coral Princess: Whittier to Vancouver.
Virtually EVERTHING was excellent. So I will only mention two areas that need improvement: the pillows are thin and hard.
Bring one or two of your own in Anchorage or Vancouver just before you depart!! Be aware that the showers in your stateroom are tiny(unless you have a small or large suite). I mean tiny: 24" square. If you drop the soap, you have to get out of the shower to pick it up. Don't even THINK of trying to lather up your legs or feet! Would I do the trip again....absolutely! The cruise was the best I have had in years.

Good to hear that. I see they go to the Panama Canal which is on our list.

jacketwatch: If you want a superlative experience doing the Panama Canal, try the Windstar...a smallish boat, (feels like sailing) with lots of amenities. It is one of our all time favorities.

Thank you. I'll check into it. However if its a smaller ship I'll pass. We prefer larger ships because of feeling less movement.
