Hey Linda,
I will be sailing with you on my honeymoon. I've booked the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui....heard it's the best and a must see. Only 24 more days!

Eat at least once at the Gourmet Resturant. My client rave about it and say it is well worth the $25 p/p charge.

The only problem I can see with such a cruise would be a strong temptation to jump ship in Kauai !
Have a great trip,
p.

Hello...sorry I'm late. Loved Hawaii but wish I would have just stayed in Maui & Kona. The ship was great, don't get me wrong but filled with senior citizens. Oh well, we weren't looking to party but it got annoying.

Actually, there are several Carnival itineraries that get a heavy dose of Seniors. On the Canada/New England 7 day on the Victory my husband and I at 56 and 57 were one of the youngest couples on the ship.

We were on the Spirit last April. It is a beautiful ship. The gym/spa area is great (wonderful showers there after the sauna/steam room) The gourmet restaraunt is wonderful, and they featured live music for dancing. We returned after dinner in the dinning room one night for a drink at their bar and dancing. So even if you don't eat there, go up for a drink and maybe some dancing. Enjoy! Mary

It is true that as more and more seniors find that the value, food and entertainment is nothing like the Carnival of old, they are filling the ships.

Paul
