Back to Back Cruise

Taking a back to back cruise on the NCL Jade. Can we leave our bags on board? Do we have to go through the registration process again for the 2nd leg of the cruise? Will we keep the same room, so then can we leave our bags?

Hi jan

We are doing a back to back cruise on NCL Jade out of Venice. I have checked with my travel agent and they say that we leave everything as is on change over day - we keep the same cabin etc.
It's only those leaving the cruise who have to pack up.

I do plan to check this again, closer to our cruise time - just to be sure! Di

It all depends how it is booked. If it is booked as one voyage and you have the same cabin, you are good to go.

If it is 2 different booking numbers, then you have to check out and cehck back in, you will probably have different cabin as well.

Thanks Di--

that helped a lot to plan for the switchover day. Do you happen to be taking the 18 day Adriatic and Med cruise in Oct?

Since the ship departs so late, we can get there early in the morning and wondered if you knew if we could leave our bags at the port and be able to tour Venice? We were there 2 years ago for 2 weeks, so this would just be a stroll around. Thanks.

This is a great source of information on Back to back cruises http://www.shipcruise.org/back-to-ba...cruise-travel/ you'll find there review exactly on the subject of b2b cruising on different ships, keeping the same or different cabin, what happens if you buy alcohol and other special stuff in the first leg, how you get through Customs and Immigration, tips on booking, food, etc. And since I don't plan a b2b cruise anytime soon - the most cool thing there for me is the picture top right - ah, it's so deliciously sweet - this milky blue and green - just love it! I hope you'll get there most (if not all) answers you need on back to back cruises.

Hi jan
We're taking the cruise leaving 21 September - so sounds as though we'll be on the same route as you, but not the same dates.
