Anyone cruised Carnival Legend?

Has anyone cruised the Carnival Legend to Belize, Limon and Colon Panama? We are doing it in late January. Any suggestions on what to do for the day in Colon? What, if anything, is at or close to the port? Any suggested local tour operators? Any comments on the ship and/or other ports?
Hi Peggy,

I wrote a rather lengthly review on the Legend. Go to www.cruisediva.com. and click "cruise reviews."

Sorry to say I do not post info on ports unless it is a specific question. I believe everyone should do their own research and book according to their own lifestyle.

Paul

Is that what you tell your travel agency clients - you don't recommend any specific activities in the ports you book their cruise to?

I don't know why I reply to you Peter since your only objective is to have threads deleted by Fodors.

If you study my posts (which you don't) you will see I stress lifestyle (what people like to do on vacation - any vacation) and also budget. This takes some rapport with clients. It's not off the cuff such as on this forum. What one person likes, another may hate.

What next?

Paul

With every post, Peter displays his arrogance and ignorance. Who knows, he may be able to provide good advice, but that would require some thoughtr.

I thought I was doing research - What's available other than Carnival Shore Excursions. Are there tour operators at the port when you arrive? Any suggestions on one I can contact before I go?

Peggy - you are doing research. What Paul fails to realize is that this site is RESEARCH. By asking your original question, you are doing RESEARCH.

Unfortunately, I have not been to any of the ports you're going to. If no one on this forum gives you any advice, I would recommend you go to cruisecritics.com and go to their ports section and you will get some insight there.
