I have gotten quotes from several private guides for Amalfi Coast excursion. Angelo was 370 euro, seeamalficoast.com was 300 euro, and aptours was 360. I asked all of them how they would handle the road construction. Some have said the road is okay and others have said the road might be okay in May (which is the month of my cruise). I'm not sure who to trust. I'm looking for a reputable person to drive me and my family along the coast.

We have also used Giovanni from tour of Italy--they were fantastic. We arrived in Naples a couple hours later than planned and they were at the station waiting for us! In addition to transport to and from Naples, with a stop in Pompeii, we had hired them the following day for a tour of the coast with a couple stops.

the highligth was the stop for lunch at the 'La tagliata' overlooking positano!
