Alaska Cruise question..should I cancel
Need some in put......
have cruised Glacier Bay and College Fjord and the sights were beautiful.
On the next cruise in May we will not be going to either. We will be cruising through Tracy Arm. My husband is now having a fit, saying that the sights will not be as beautiful. The last time we were on the Dawn Princess. This time we will be on the Pacific Princess, which is a much smaller ship. I thought that a smaller ship would be able to get a little closer to the sights.
Are the sights any less spectacular? Must be honest...I am ready to just cancel this cruise, as he is complaining about the ship size and itnerary.
Guess I just need to hear some good stuff about Tracey Arm and the Pacific Princess.
Thanks

Here are some pictures of Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier:

http://home.gci.net/~rbtbrsrd2/html/tracyarm.html

http://home.attbi.com/~bobholio/tracyarm/TracyArm.html
----------------

From my friends who have been there, they love it. It is different from Glacier Bay, but beautiful in her own way.

You are not going to find much information on the new Pacific Princess since she is yet to sail under "Princess yet". I think she is currently sailing under P&O (she spends half her year sailing under Princess and the other half under P&O). She is a sister to Tahitian Princess and all reports about her sound wonderful. I would love to sail the new Pacific Princess to Alaska. I wouldn't cancel - sounds like a great trip.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond.
After posting the original question I asked him if hhe wanted to cancel. Final payment is not due for another week. And we could change the air for a fee so at least I have given him some options.
