Yet another "which island should I visit" question? Sorry....

Hello, I'm trying to help plan a trip to the Caribbean for my parents this July. Their likes: a great beach with a fair amount of things to do. Preferably a nice island to perhaps drive around and explore but also have "just beach" days. One thing I prefer not to have is a gaming island, mom will get sidetracked. I know this question has been asked over and over but you guys know all! Thanks!

Thanks Kristen, Grand Cayman was my first choice but was having 2nd thoughts! Haven't been there myself yet and thought there may be another island I've overlooked. Thanks again!

Aruba would be perfect except that there are a few small casinos.

I would also recommend Grand Cayman. We are going in Feb. and have heard wonderful things about it.

Question, how many days do you plan to have them spend there?

I can also recommend Grand Cayman. It is a very navigable island - although we spent most of our time on bikes. We literally biked to Hell and back. Great shopping, diving right off the beach and we took a great snorkelling trip on which they speared fish, marinated it while on the boat and then served it with coconut bread for lunch.

Meta, it would be a 9 night trip, Sat-Sun. It will most likely be the Grand Cayman then.
Have been to Aruba, and I can't trust Mom not to slip away for some excitement. I can just hear Dad yelling "get off those damn machines, Vernann"! lol
I had also considered Jamaica, but will probably hold off on that one for a few years.
Thanks everyone!
