Pink Sands - go to www.islandoutpost.com This place is wonderful. If it is important to you to have alot of kids activities - Atlantis (but that has such a big resort feel).

Pink Sands on Harbour Isle is VERY nice.
However personally I'd be very nervous about going there in Demcember when it can still get pretty chilly there. Also as wonderful as it is, there is nothing at all for children 3 & 7 yrs of age to do unless they can entertain themselves well on the beach. Head further South to maybe Caneel Bay or Little Dix Bay. nice beaches and kids clubs as well.

We just returned from the Hyatt in Aruba with our two kids. We loved every day there. We used the kids camp from 12 - 3 two days and my girls loved it...they were mad we didn't let them go more! Beach was wonderful, pool was fabulous and they offer kids menus at all their restaurants. Very safe to take them into town and eat, as well. Highly recommend this resort for families.

Have you looked into Anguilla? There are several resorts that have children's programs along with the great restaurants and beaches. We took our children to Harbour Island last summer. We rented a house on the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful, but that is about all there is to do at H.I. besides drive around in the golf carts. Our children were very bored. Choices to dine are limited. (I, personally, was not impressed with Angela's Starfish Restaurant. You order at the kitchen window and food was only ok, at best.)
