Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort, St. Thomas

My husband and I are staying at the Wyndham and leaving next weekend 4/21. I would love to hear comments about food, friendly staff (I hope), rooms as far as amenities, etc. from anyone who has recently visited this resort. We are looking for peace and quite and do not plan to do much sight seeing as we recently honeymooned in BVI. Please tell me I don't have to walk 1/2 to get to the beach from my room. The brochure I have may possibly be decieving...

hi tracy - we stayed there last year and loved it. but we had 3 kids and that's what made it great. it is a hotel that caters to kids so as far as relaxing and peaceful???? the staff was great, rooms nice and quality very good for an all-inclusive. but if it were me and my hubby alone i'd opt for the ritz on st. thomas...

The Wyndom is known for their 99 steps from the rooms to the pool/beach area..or you can take a jitney at the main building..The hamburgers by the pool are incredible..you must make reservations in the a.m. for the evening meal at the dining room (we hate buffets in general).. for more info please write..and pictures too

I tried to e-mail ParrotMom with some questions about the Wyndham, where my wife & I are staying at the end of May, & could not get through. Perhaps if she would e-mail me I could simply reply & could ask my questions. Thanks in advance........Dan
