Wyndham or Hyatt
We want to go to Aruba in June but have been told that Hyatt has a nicer hotel and Wyndam has a nicer beach. The Hyatt is much more expensive, and since we are going to enjoy the beach, were wondering if that was true. I had heard that the ocean is rocky and not sandy when you step in the ocean. What do you all think? Is the Hyatt worth the extra money?

Have you considered the Radisson? We have been to Aruba 6 times and after 2 stays at the Radisson feel it is the best. The Hyatt was also very nice when we stayed there, but feel the Radisson is much better value and has a MUCH nicer stretch of beach.

There are no rocks and the bottom IS pure white sand along ALL of Palm Beach.

For more details please feel free to e-mail me.

We stayed at the Wyndham last year at the end of June, and really liked it. The beach is adjacent to the Radisson's beach so they are equally lovely and the same. Very pretty. The Wyndham has a really nice pool with daily activies both adults and kids programs. They also have a big casino, three restaurants and everything is in one big high rise so there is no long walk to the pool or beach. They have an awesome Manager's Party on Tuesday evenings with drinks and appetizers and put on a great show, don't miss that. Also the Wyndham had the most happening "happy hour" daily.

We were very happy with our 7 night stay. Our only complaint is that the restaurants in the hotel were over rated and overpriced so we went into town most nights for better and more reasonably priced food.

Wyndham was great!Hyatt also great..but for the money ,yes, Hyatt more expensive & no balconies to speak of..Wyndham all rooms are ocean view. Could not go wrong with either, however, save yourself a few $'s stay at the Wyndham & walk down to the Hyatt if you want to try out their restaurants & check out the property..same beach ,fabulous service at both,& great food ,both clean & cared for.Lots of marble in the baths at the Wyndham-it was at one time a Hilton.Like I said you can not go wrong with either!

If you stay at the Wyndham, they have a new service called Wyndham By Request. Sign up free on their website, and you state your preferences for bed type, pillow type, refreshments you'd prefer upon arrival, and voila! there's a basket with wine and fruit etc. We tried it in Orlando, very cool!
