where to go for a month?

I'm trying to help my parents find an affordable, nice, safe place to stay on the beach for about a month next winter. They usually go to Florida (they live in Canada), but want to try something different. They're not very adventerous and mostly just want to lie by a beautiful beach. Any suggestions on villas or hotels?

Hollyilver Sands in Duncans/37 miles east of MoBay and a gated villa community with arguably the whitest sands on the coast might be a good intro to island, esp.for safety/beach/less adventuresome than you and Carolyn factor We have a few villas there/sasha

Miss P's is on www.jamaicaescapes.com
We're adding 6 new properties, most in Treasure Beach, over this upcoming month, of which COQUINA at Great Bay might also be a good match. See the working offline site/text to come by week's end at http://www.jamaicaescapes.com/coquin...ncoquina1.html for BLUE MARLIN and COQUINA. Dreamaway, Button Bay, Driftwood and Brownberry Cottage to come...Carolyn leaves the end of this month, btw, for her own first vaca in Aix-en-Provence

Holly:We just changed the link to that working offline in progress site for pages to Blue Marlin and Coquina. The link is now http://www.jamaicaescapes.com/bluema...uemarlin1.html
Typos and guest comments are still to be fixed/added.

Check out Barbados. Lots of Canadians there. There are several more "budget" price accommodations that might work perfectly. Go to the Barbados tourism board's website at:
www.barbados.org
and look up hotels and everything is listed there including price ranges.
It's a terrific island.

Aruba is very safe, with beautiful beaches. I don't know about Jamaica - they;ll be mainly confined to the hotel grounds I think, for safety reasons.
