What to do in St. Maarten?
Hello,
My wife, baby, and I might be going to Divi Resort in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten in April.
I'm not the type of person who can sit on the beach all the time and I'm not a big shopper.
Besides tennis, what is there to do in this area?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Steve

Are you going to have a car? There is a lot to do on the whole island, but that will require a vehicle.
Otherwise, I'm not familiar with the activities in the vicinity of your exact resort, other than shopping in Phillipsburg.

one of the things I love about st. martin is that you have great ,
easy snorkeling right off the beaches. this doesn't help if you just don't enjoy the beach/ocean, but if you are just to active to sit still, it is great to be able to be in and out of the water-exploring all day!
I haven't stayed in phillipsburg specifically but on the
frenchside there is baie rouge- a lovely beach with chairs and umbrelleas for rent and a hut with food and drink s for sale.
Also Baie l'orient (also on the french side ) is also great beaches with
restaurants and snorkeling.
I think with a car it is not that far of a drive from your location and maybe this is true of the beaches in your area too.
hope you enjoy, it's a great island!
