I am interested in the ways that you surprise your s/o (significant other) while on vacation.

What do you carry with you,what special things to you do/see and what other tips do you have to share that will add a little romance to a tropical getaway?

For me, making sure I get a room with a spectacular view and king sized bed is worth the upgrade : D and harrasing the hotel with lots of emails and questions about room location...even better if they have a hotel map and I can get pics of the rooms and hotel.

Another nice thing is to arrange a private charter for a day sail. You feel totally spoiled and rich.

Love a jacuzzi in the room, and a nice balcony with a hammock....

<i>Anything</i> sexy or sex-oriented that you don't do at home.

Many places will serve you a candlelight dinner for two right on the beach. Very nice!

I think you should definitely find a spot with a gorgeous, somewhat secluded beach, warm sun, soft sand, and let nature take its course...I will forever have fond memories of Bermuda. Next stop, Culebra!
