Has anyone been to a wedding on the caribbean islands. A friend is planning to get married in November but isn't sure what island to get married on. Any recommendations?<BR>Thanks!

In the interest of full disclosure I've been posting quite a bit in favor of Jamaica villas but it's genuine, un-conflicted enthusiasm. Have been to Jamaica on several occasions and it's my favourite Caribbean island. Rather than repeat my previous posts just do a search on Tryall and Round Hill- they're both great for weddings.

I am with the second poster - depends on what type of wedding, atmosphere, number of people included, budget, all-inclusive or not, etc...<BR><BR>I posted above about our wedding at Grand Lido Negril on a yacht. Very private and first class and was large enough to accomondate us and our guests (about 10 more) but very intimate.

Thanks for the replies!<BR><BR>She was thinking of having the wedding in November. I have been to St. Thomas and St. John, but I think she is looking for a place that has more of a a nightlife (casinos, clubs, etc.).<BR><BR>She is thinking of doing all-inclusive.

For nightlife and such (good restaurants, beaches) then I suggest St. Martin. She couldn't go wrong there.

I vote for Aruba. Great night life, wonderful snorkeling & beaches. Have fun renting a jeep & 4-wheeling all over. I think this island has something for everyone!
