Weather in Feb

My husband and I are looking to get away for a few days in Feb. Any ideas on where to go for guaranteed hot weather?

Danak,
Not sure where you are originating from...therefore tough to recommend what is good for a few days in Feb. However, most places accessible from CONUS for only a few days are generally Florida and Bahamas, neither are hot but very pleasant perhaps mid 70s to 80ish day time highs but water temps have a chill when you first get in...
For real warmth you need to go further south, perhaps find a nonstop flight to Puerto Rico.

i'm in NYC so anything is better. We were thinking Freeport, but i have heard the weather isn't a sure thing and we can get stuck wearing sweatshirts by the pool...

Danak,
Freeport is the most north of the Bahamas islands and will be the coolest however so slightly....but me least favorite of the Bahamas. If you have your choice do Nassau....when you have more time to Eleuthera, Andros, etc. Or further south on that chain the Turks and Caicos. Truly look into a nonstop from NYC to San Juan its not that long of a flight and you go nonstop and pick an outlying resort, I think you'll enjoy that.

Also you can probably get a nonstop from NYC into St. Maarten, Dominican Republic, Jamaica or even Aruba though seems like a long way to go but really not that much further. Good Luck and happy travels.

We have actually been to Nassau and my husband and I met in Turks and Caikos. We have $500 Continental voucehers to use by end of feb. so we want to use them asap. The fares from NYC to almost all of the hotspots are over $800. The cheapest flight was to Freeport, but since i have been getting replies that the weather isn't top shelf in Feb., I think we're going to end up in Paris - why not...

maddawg21,
No I don't own any apts in Paris, but use rental agencies. If you are going to stay the week in a city such as Paris or Rome I highly recommend it as its very economical...you have more space and a kitchen for lite meals or some full blown cooking. I can help you find a place if need be but the internet there are alot of possbilities...do some surfing, if you get stuck look me up.
