The water in St. Martin is a deep brown. Same color as the Hudson River. Stand in 2 feet of water and you can't see your toes. I agree, St. Martin is ugly and dirty. You should go to Mexico City on vacation. The people are all friendly, speak perfect English, and the air quality is much better than the Caribbean.
