VR, Tuscany or Grandview??

Need some help. Found a FABULOUS condo at Grandview, but it looks like it is set quite far back from the beach. True? Tuscany is having fantastic specials when we are going
( MAY), but I was told there is major construction going on next door. VR looks nice, but the pricest since no specials. Looking for a quiet, oceanfront place, would love maid service (VR has it) and high end furnishings. What about La Vele? Mixed reviews...any advice would be most appreciated. TX

VR is nicest..all listed are self catering, no restaurants.
Yes, construction next door to Tuscany is next phase. Le Vele very stark . Grandview is on the water but, more of residential place. Have you looked at The Somerest? Our new fav...

Yes, Somerset looks to be the nicest... VERY pricey, though. DId you stay in a cottage or Stirling House?

We stayed in the Sterling in January but, when we return we are staying in a Cottage. We looked at a couple of cottages and loved the 2nd story units - they have lofts, high ceilings , 2 full baths...just beautiful. We can't wait!

Consider Turks & Caicos Club as well. It's by the reef and they are offering the 4th night free. 21-suites and a great beach.

Turks & Caicos Club is nice but, VERY limited walking to restaurants...Somerset better location IMO and Somerset has 4th or 5th night free too!

Restaurants within walking distance of TCC: Simba (at hotel, Atlantic Bar & Grill (next door), Somewhere at the Beach (next door at Coral Gardens) and the new restaurant opening at the Gansevoort (2 doors down.) Lots of choices on West Grace Bay Beach near Turks & Caicos Club.

Simba has very mixed reviews ( we had a bad meal, lunch & dinner) , We ate at Atlantic at West Bay Club-really bad, overdone fish ( all 4 of us) Somewhere on Beach they say is good for Breakfast & lunch--dinners limited and Gansevoort (Wymara) who knows yet? I still say The Somerset location is MUCH better and twice as many dining options, sorry!
