Virgin Gorda Secluded Beaches
Looking for the locations/names of the small and secluded VG beaches. All we need is white sand, calm water and a little cove for us to be very happy. Of course, throw in a few cool boulders and life is really good. Thanks guys!

We were in VG in april and our favorite secluded beach was Savanna, most days we had it to ourselves. no boulders on that side of the island.Spring bay is great, lots of boulders it is near the baths but there will be some people there. If you work around the cruise ships you can sometimes have the baths or devils bay to yourself. Get a jeep so you can explore.

Hi Gero,
Devil's Bay is at the extreme southwestern tip of Virgin Gorda. Next to it is the Baths. On the other side of the Baths is Spring Bay. Just past Spring Bay is the Crawl, a samll beach popular with kids and families because giant boulders protect it from the sea. Just past this little beach is my favorite beach on the island, Valley Little Trunk Bay. It's a 5 minute walk down the trail that leads to it from the picnic tables near the Crawl. It is somewhat similar to Spring Bay, but has more giant boulders thrown about on the beach and in the water. It rarely has anyone on it and then only a few people. Savannah Bay and Pond Bay, which is next to it, are on the other side of Spanish Town, and as Sue indicated you can certainly find seclusion there.
Regards,
Ray

Yes Joan,we stayed 11 days on vg in april and we liked it very much but our favorite is still Anguilla. We stayed at a very reasonable place called Guavaberry not fancy but clean and comfortable treehouse like apartments with decks and nice views within walking distance to spring bay, great beach near the baths.

Jenny,We had booked a place on Anguilla called Fountain Beach hotel only to arrive to a run down dump, after leaving we found a nice place very reasonable, clean, kitchen, located on shoal bay east,a short walk from the water.the name is elodias and the people were wonderful, they saved our vacation. We will stay again next time.its not very big I think it had 6 apartments, for the price we thought it was great.
